We installed this above a large landscape print in our sitting room and the result is exactly the gallery light effect I wanted. The brass tone is rich rather than yellow, and the 18 inch width feels properly balanced.
Ordered for a reading nook with framed art above a console table. Delivery was quick and the fitting feels much more substantial than the cheaper picture wall lights I looked at first.
